How to become a St. Frances Academy Student
Four step process:
1. Apply
2. Interview
3. Register
4. Pay
1. APPLY:
Complete and Submit Application Form with $30 non-refundable deposit.
COST:
$30.00 non-refundable.
Purpose:
To collect and process necessary information.
9th grade applicants need:
- final 7th grade report card.
- most recent 8th grade report card.
- copy of their standardized test scores.
Other grade level applicants need:
- copy of their transcript from 9th grade to present grade.
- copy of their standardized test scores.
I.E.P. and 504 Plan applicants need:
- copy of their most recent plan.
- copy of their grades.
- copy of standardized test scores.
All applicants must respond to ONE of the following questions in essay form. The response should be approximately 300 words in length. The essay is to be hand-written by the applicant without any assistance from any source.
- Why are you choosing SFA and what do you expect to gain from your attending once here?
- What is your greatest strength as a person and your greatest weakness?
- If you could meet one person from history, who would it be and why?

2. INTERVIEW:
Meet with President and/or Principal of St. Frances Academy.
Purpose:
To scrutinize the applicant’s willingness to accept our program.
When the completed application is returned, an interview appointment will be scheduled for the applicant and his/her parent(s) or guardian(s) to meet with the SFA President and/or SFA Principal.

3. REGISTER: Complete and submit Registration Packet with $150 non-refundable fee.
COST:
$150.00 non refundable. (After July 2nd, the registration fee is $200.00.)
Purpose:
To set tuition and collect more information required of all students.
Applicants pick up the Registration Packet from our Main Office following the interview. This packet contains several forms that must be completed.
- Family Financial Statement
- School Based Health Center Registration Form
- Medical Information Form
- Immunization Record
- Counseling Department Form
- Family Partnership Program Parent/Guardian Consent Form
- Textbook Program Income Survey
- Transcript Request Form
- Publication Awareness Form
Applicants entering the 9th grade have one additional form:
- Freshman Summer Institute Registration Form
COST:
$350.00 non refundable. (After July 27th fee is $375.00.)
Purpose:
The Freshman Summer Institute is a two week full day intensive program to introduce students to procedures, behaviors and methods that will lead to academic, social and spiritual success at St. Frances Academy.
Registration packets need to be submitted to the SFA Main Office.
A meeting will be arranged with our Tuition Manager regarding your tuition payment plan. Financial Aid is limited and may not be available.
Class fees are additional to tuition fees:
- Freshmen Fee is $100 (Retreat & Field Trips).
- Sophomore Fee is $100 (Retreat, Pinning Ceremony & Dance).
- Junior Fee is $250 (Retreat, Prom, Junior Ring Dance).
- Senior Fee is $350 (Retreat, Prom, Graduation).
Other costs to be considered:
- Uniforms expenses vary.
- Academic Fee is $360 (books, locker & lock, etc.).
- Athletic Fee is $75 (for those on sport teams).

4. PAY: Make checks payable to: "St. Frances Academy".
Tuition Fees, Class Fees, and other fees must be in good standing in order to remain enrolled at St. Frances Academy.
