St. Frances Academy Library books can be looked up in the LNDL library catalog. Search in the box below:

Keyword Title (omit initial a, an, the) Journal Title Subject Author (last name first ) Call Number

Results should be limited to books that are available at St. Frances. To check out a book, see the person on duty at the library.

SFA faculty are able to check out books from the Loyola/Notre Dame Library (LNDL). When you search the LNDL catalog, be aware that SFA faculty are able to check out material from LNDL ONLY, so ignore results from Hood, CUC or our other consortium libraries.

Here are directions to the library (it's straight up York/Greenmount 3.7 miles from SFA, left on Winston Ave.).

Enoch Pratt Free Library Databases
Do you have a city library card? Would you like one? They're free, you know. Just go to any branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library (EPFL) system and provide signed proof of Maryland residence (i.e., report card or any other official mail addressed to you that has your signature on it. The library will send you mail to serve as proof if you need them to). Once you have your card, not only can you check out books, you can also access (from any computer) all of EPFL's databases that have the symbol next to them. If you don't have your card yet, see the library person on duty for a temporary code that will give you access.

Loyola/Notre Dame Library (LNDL) Website
The majority of LNDL's databases are not directly accessible by students, but the pages listed in the drop-down menu for academic subjects (look in the "find articles and other resources" box) include relevant information and resources, such as links to publicly available Web resources (under the "websites" tab) on each subject page. SFA faculty can access databases using their LND Library card number and last name.
