Q. Can only African Americans attend St. Frances Academy?

A. No. SFA is open to all religious and ethnic groups.

Q. Do you have to be Catholic to attend?

A. No. While SFA is a Catholic school, more than 85 percent of the student body is not Catholic.

Q. What percentage of graduates go on to college?

A. For the past several years, 99 percent of our graduating seniors went on to attend and graduate college.

Q. Is SFA co-ed?

A. Yes.

Q. How much is tuition?

A. There are several different levels of tuition, but the most anyone would pay is

Q. Is there any financial aid available?

A. Yes, please call about Financial Aid.

Q. What grades do you serve?

A. We are a high school (grades 9-12).

Q. How do I go about registering my student?

Q. When can I apply?

A. We accept applications on a rolling admission as necessary.

Q. Can I get college credit hours at SFA?

A. Yes, qualified students may earn college credit hours via our partnership with Baltimore City Community College.

Q. Why don't you offer AP or IB classes at SFA?

A. We do this by choice! Often, colleges and universities will not accept these credits, especially in science. We choose to offer the possibility of obtaining ACTUAL, TRANSFERABLE college credits.

Q. Is it really possible to earn an SFA diploma along with a full Associates Degree from BCCC upon graduation?

A. YES!!! If you qualified for the program as a Freshman and took full advantage of this amazing partnership, you would get your St. Frances Academy diploma and your 60 college credit Associates Degree (A.A.) from BCCC on the same day.
